In addition to having a lifelong personal interest in health and wellness, Jeff Ostroff spent much of his early career working for and with health care organizations. These include Medicare, the VA health care system, numerous hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and health care associations. It was this background—and a fascination with trends and the future—that led Jeff to create the podcast, Health Care on the Horizon.
Health Care on the Horizon (HCH) is about where things stand now with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of specific diseases— and how things might change with those in the future. HCH’s goal is to help you learn more about these diseases, and to give you a clearer picture of the work being done right now to improve or eradicate their adverse impact.
